MEASURING
After having received an initial offer from us you will have an expert consultation on the ground, where we can advise you on how to choose the right interior door design which would best complement the entire living space, including the information on the possible expectations for each model of the door.
On-site, we can best address the complexity of the installation and implementation of all the door components. After an agreement has been reached, we will prepare the detailed offer and confirm your order, which goes straight into production.
Interior doors are usually delivered within is 6 - 8 weeks, which is the time between the order confirmation and the installation.
The measurement process costs € 50, which will be deduced from the final invoice in case of a delivered order.
PRODUCTION
Our production process includes sustainable solutions and environmentally friendly development. Throughout the entire production a suction system cleans the air and ensures a healthy working environment. We produce by-products, such as pellets and briquettes, from waste powder, thus reducing our total waste production to zero. We source our logs from local forests, paying attention to the aspect of local supply chains and general sustainable development. The only type of wood sourced non-locally, is the Nordic spruce, which has a distinctly knotty appearance due to its special growing conditions and is obtained from Finland. The Nordic spruce wood is FSC certified.
The production process of our interior doors is carried out by Melu in its entirety and is subject to constant quality control. This includes:
- Log cutting
- Wood drying
- Production of 3-layered glued core (own development of innovative gluing preventing bending)
- Preparation of intermediate products
- Final production of door wings and frames
- Preparation and implementation of surface treatment
DELIVERY, INSTALLATION AND SERVICE
Within Slovenia, delivery is free.
We foresee the installation date at the time of the order confirmation. The price of installing interior doors depends on the complexity of the building (an old house or a new building), the door design (classic, with sliding elements or built-in frames, etc.) and the accessibility of the building itself.
It should be noted that the installation of built-in frames for the Inline doors should already take place in the construction phase and should take place in two phases.
Phase 1: Alu frames are installed on bare, untreated walls.
Phase 2: After the painting is completed, the door wing is installed.
A higher installation price may apply to older buildings with uneven walls, hard-to-reach city apartments or other buildings with special conditions due to the complexity of the installation.
WARRANTY
Door wings and frames all come with a warranty, which is valid for 24 months from the delivery of the product to the customer.
The warranty applies only to any defects in material and production which can be proven to have been caused by the manufacturer.
Melu d.o.o. guarantees for the quality and the flawless operation of interior doors during the warranty period. We will eliminate any defects within the warranty period (45 days after receiving the written complaint) at our own expense, deliver a new and faultless product instead of the reclaimed one, or refund the purchase price in full.
All visual defects that may result from improper storage or handling of interior doors should be declared in writing immediately upon receipt of the goods in the presence of the delivery person, as any subsequent complaints of such defects are not taken into account by the manufacturer.
